Inhalation: High concentrations can cause nose, throat and lung irritation. Also
headache, nausea, and drowsiness.
Ingestion: Can cause nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of
coordination, and fatigue.
Can be toxic and affect the kidneys and liver. Aspiration hazard if swallowed

Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:
Eyes: Irritation and redness.
Skin: May cause
irritation especially if prolonged or repeated exposure.
Inhalation:
Irritation of respiratory tract, headache, nausea, and drowsiness.
Ingestion: Irritation of digestive tract,
drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, fatigue, nausea, and confusion. Increased heart rate,
decreased blood pressure, and unconsciousness.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure:
Repeated overexposure of
pre-existing skin conditions, eye problems, lung, liver and kidney disorders.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures:
Eyes: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes, forcibly holding eyelids open.
Contact a physician.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin
with soap and water for several minutes. Contact a physician if irritation
develops or persists.
Inhalation: Move
person into fresh air. Get medical
attention. Use artificial respiration and/or
oxygen, if required.
Ingestion: Give
two glasses of water (16oz.). Do not
induce vomiting. Contact a physician.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
In an emergency or if in doubt, contact a physician.
7 PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING

Steps To Be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled:
Contain the spill.
Eliminate ignition sources. Avoid
eye and skin contact. Avoid breathing
vapor.
Ventilate area. Use
non-combustible absorbent materials; place absorbed spill into labeled airtight
drums.
Keep spill out of drains,
sewers and waterways. Wear personal protective clothing and equipment including
appropriate respiratory protection.
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose all waste in
accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
Precautions To Be Taken in Handling and Storing:
Store in tightly closed
containers in a cool area away from heat and flames.
Use with adequate ventilation and proper grounding of all
transfer equipment.
Avoid breathing of vapors and mist.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.
Use proper personal protective equipment when needed.
Launder contaminated clothing before re-use.
Store away from incompatible materials.
